The Attuned Community School

A Community of Growth

At The Attuned Community School, we empower students to ask insightful questions, explore disciplinary boundaries and confront conventional ways of thinking. Check out our site to learn more about all that we have to offer.

**Disclaimer:**

The Attuned Community School is not a private or traditional school. We operate as a microschool/hybrid homeschool under the protection of the Georgia Learning Pod Protection Act. All learners are required to be registered as homeschoolers with the Georgia Department of Education each year. In accordance with Georgia law, parents are considered the primary educators and are responsible for every aspect of their child’s homeschool instruction. Our role is to provide tutoring, enrichment, and support services to complement home-based education. We should not be confused with a traditional school.

Play Based

We know when children are playing, they are also learning. We could go on & on with the benefits of PLAY! During play children are processing emotions, practicing regulating, establishing boundaries and being joyful. Play is so important for children

Nature Based

Our children will spend 90+ minutes per day outdoors! Nature Based learning allows students to explore and learn about the environment around them in a fun and engaging way. Through activities such as gardening, outdoor hikes, and nature scavenger hunts, students gain a better understanding and appreciation of the natural world.

Project and Inquiry Based

Whether students are given a problem to solve (project-based learning) or they can pick and choose what they want to learn more deeply about (inquiry-based learning) learners are offered the opportunity to authentically connect with the content.
